Bombini Tribe Day Nursery is an Ofsted Registered nursery which provides day care to children aged 2 to 4 years. We offer Universal, Extended and Free for Two's local authority funding to eligible children aged from 2 years to 4 years as well as privately funded spaces.
We are situated in the heart of the community in Kennington, Ashford and pride ourselves on maintaining excellent links with the local schools and developing partnerships and friendships within the local community.
The day-to-day running is managed by Sally and Rachel and along with additional staff, the whole team work together to provide the best outcomes for the children and their families.
We at Bombini Tribe Day Nursery have a clear vision – to provide caring and supportive childcare in a fun and rich environment together with a friendly, innovative and professional approach.
We understand the importance of partnerships and strive to creative supportive and trusting relationships with our families and the local community. Community is key in what we want to achieve. We strive to continue to make links with our community friends, including the local schools, church, local businesses and other professionals who will help us deliver the best support to our families.
Our setting aims to provide a homely feel that fosters a calm and relaxed atmosphere to make everyone feel at home. We make the most of the space we have, offering creative, expressive, and explorative play areas along with cosy corners for children to be calm and quiet and play independently if they choose to. We aim for every day to be a productive learning day and offer different experiences for children to explore, along with allowing the children to take the lead in what they want to learn and work with them to provide resources to support their developing skills and interests.
The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) 2021 sets standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old. As an Ofsted registered nursery, we follow the framework which supports an integrated approach to early learning and care and underpins the child’s learning and development experience.
Bombini Tribe Day Nursery follows the Development Matters curriculum guidance in line with the EYFS 2021 and acknowledges that children learn best through play and exploration and ensures that children are offered a balance of child-led and adult-led activities as well as maintaining the balance of achievable and challenging tasks to develop high self-esteem and autonomy.

I have worked in Early Years since 2014 and hold an Early Years Educator level 3 qualification. I am trained in paediatric first aid, safeguarding and child protection. I have a passion for SEN in early years and as a committed SENCO I am trained in supporting communication and language using Makaton, Emotion Coaching, Language for Learning as well as running additional support programmes such as Early Talk Boost (ICAN). I pride myself in creating excellent relationships with all our families and working in partnership with parents and carers is fundamental to my approach.
I am inspired by shaping children’s first experiences, placing them at the heart of the learning process providing opportunities to explore, imagine and create. I love my role in supporting children’s play, which gives each child a chance to practice what they are learning whilst having lots of fun!
